I started a new job that I absolutely love, watched my baby girl grow into a young lady over night and experienced the most fun with Kels, family and friends.
The end of the year is a good time to reflect, take accountability, and look forward to what's next.
2019 is going to be an amazing one! Not because it's a new year but because I have found these new rose colored glasses that have allowed me to see things in a new light, a beautiful light. Even when life feels hard, there is so much to be thankful for.
This year we planned to stay in state and spend more time camping, little did I know we would travel more than ever. I got to experience and learn a lot in 2018. A few takeaways...
- Explore the arts in your area, there is so much creativity everywhere
- Always celebrate YOU, birthday's are the 2nd best holiday
- Friends come and go, do your best to remember the purpose they served with gratitude, and move on
- Soak up the sun any chance you get
- Play in and on the water
- It's ok to find your career path 16 years into the game
- Girls trips with your besties are a necessity for the soul
- Remember to do whatever it takes to put your family and relationship first
- Spend time showing yourself the most love. Read, write, and/or affirm - you are worth it!
- Be her number one fan... Soccer is life!
- Attend Concerts, music sets the soul free
- People will always choose sides, even if the side they choose has secretly betrayed them.. #SendLove
- Enjoy Mother Nature anytime you can - this too, is time with God
- Scare yourself
- Supporting your college teams can be the most fun
- Moon Ceremonies assist in letting go
- Travel is God's way of showing us the multitude of souls we connect with near and far
- Life is short, cherish it
- Learn your heritage and share the beauty
- Be lucky enough to have friends that are family
- Everyone should have a bachelor(ette) party with their most faves.. they build memories you will never forget!
- Dance like no one is watching, most likely no one is
- Embrace and express your innerchild, they have the most fun
- Surprises can make someone feel more special than you know. Happy birthday, Momma!
- Enjoy Christmas, it is the 1st favorite holiday
- Count down, reflect, embrace and look ahead
"The past is immutable. No matter how painful, or joyous, it is, we can’t change things. We can’t choose differently with hindsight. We all have to learn to accept that."
Excited to see what 2019 brings. Cheers to you and yours.
