I do say I'm a crier, and I am. Usually, I'm not embarrassed about this statement, but when it comes to death, ouch. (Insert Ugly Cry here) Listening to the people you love go through that pain is definitely the worst part about it tho, love you Ambrosia! #CelebrateLife
We lost another Mother and a friend in August. (Damn you, August!) It's my favorite month, but not.
Death really makes me reflect... weird. I've been through a lot of it, but it never gets easier. Patti Jo was a Momma to many of us. I remember her taking us to Haunted Houses, letting us use her car in High School, rockin that 80s hair and telling us what NOT to do! haha
We will miss you Patti Jo. Amber and Austy are well taken care of. Thank you for all the memories, lessons and yelling. ;) We needed it! Tell Grandma hello. I'm sure she was so excited to see you. I'm sorry you had to go so soon, but I know you are now in peace. <3
August was an interesting month, as usual. The puppy is getting HUGE! He had an allergic reaction to not sure, don't judge him! Kels and I spent time in Torrey for the Red Rock Womens Music Fest, we had Miah's 14th birthday in Lava (14 going on 18, of course), school started and Miah is living it up!
She made the High School team and we are SO proud of her... She worked hard and stressed A LOT! #GoCopperHills #39 Thank goodness for Kels, most days I'm sure she wants to pull our hair, buuuutttt... she really is the best to us!
My Nina visited for a couple of weeks and we got to spend a lot of quality time together, Les and the kidss came to town, we had this really cool view of the eclipse (takes ya back), and Alycia and I went to Powell with some great peeps. We made a few new friends and acted dangerously, to say the least! (Cliff Jumps are the best - with a life jacket of course, Miah. Don't break any bracelets! *Wink)
Miah and Kels spent time in California with The Toves family, swimming with Brody and Tate and apparently learning to dive. (Wish I could have seen that!) haha
I had my Job interview and of course nailed it! ;) But for real. My Hiking career ended, so back to the DOD I go. Summer was fun, but now onto Pumpkin lattes and snugs.
Life can be REALLY hard sometimes, but it's worth it! Look back, respect it, then walk forward.
