I mean.... I don't know about you, but I sure do love my birthday!
My two most favorite days of the year are seriously Jesus' birthday, and my own. Two best days ever (of course, Miah and Kels' bday, too)!
February was great! We celebrated my 2nd favorite day on the 4th of February (bday is the 6th, in case you wanna write that down). And I love me some theme parties, for those of you who don't know, so this year we did Snapbacks and Sneakers. It was uh.may.zing... dance parties all night long!
Next in February is Lovers Day. Kels surprised me with a bunch of bubble bath and a homemade wine/candle/phone table for the tub. Her handy(ness) is so mmmmm hmmmm. 😍 We both don't care a whole lot about this day because we should celebrate each other everyday, not just once or twice a year. Plus, after Christmas, our anniversary and my birthday, we're over it! Lol
Miah took me on her "student-led" conference at her school. They showed us their daily process, classes, etc. And I'm happy to report she's still got straight A's! She's getting so big and becoming such a cool little girl. I mean, she's always been cool, but now she's even cooler! #JustLikeHerMomma
We spent Presidents weekend in St. Geez for soccer. They didn't win, but they played really well considering some challenges their team faced unexpectedly and out of their control. We made a fun weekend out of it with good friends and our soccer fam.
After that, I started my new job! "CHG, CHG!"
Training was awesome but it's over now and the fun begins. I am seriously so grateful for my opportunity with CHG - we have purposeful work, give back to all the people who come first (which is everyone), and are one of the most loving places I've been yet! I feel I've finally found home here. ❤
I get to do what I love and live/experience my passion all at the same time. Everyday. I thought i knew it was an amazing company, but I knew nothing! I look forward for to the future we get to create here.
We got to see Ovio - Circ du Soleil, have lots of laughs with friends and finally, we got to rescue a beautiful little Momma kitty. Her name is Missy and she is rad!
Not gonna lie, it's been a pretty great year thus far. #Blessed and hope ya'll are getting to soak up as much fun as we do.
