Did you feel it... The tension, curiosity, and fear, of this election? It's been very energetically draining on many. As if people don't have enough on their plate to worry about.
Like, what about our daily struggles? Who is working for that? The more I talk with people, the more I realize how many people are actually suffering.
Why don't we talk about this? Can we start a conversation about it and how we can all help and support each other in this journey?
I've been listening to several books on tape during my fun trek up north daily and I've learned a few things I thought I might share.
1. You are not alone
2. Many times it's shame that keeps us in the dark
3. You are enough
4. We are here to connect and belong, it gives us purpose
5. Being vulnerable is brave, courageous and admirable
6. Wholeheartedness is real
7. It includes letting yourself be seen, getting in the arena whether you win or lose
8. Showing compassion to yourself and others - being kind to yourself is the most important things we can do
9. More of us numb than we know or dare to realize in fear of being seen. Fear of not being enough.
10. Perfection is the number one fault in humanity. We try to perfect ourselves, our children, our friends, our spouses and anyone else we think isn't fitting the mold
11. Say sorry. Own your story, faults and all, apologize and make an effort to fix what was wronged.
12. Never give up

Life can be tough sometimes, but one thing we have to remember is no situation remains the same. I struggle myself and have been a lot more lately with the whole job thang, among other things. I haven't been able to quite figure it out yet, but know it's a part of my growth.
I am very thankful and blessed with an amazing love, baby girl, family and friends.
For those of you in the same boat, so are you. Be patient.
And for those sailing away in peace, don't forget to share your love, compassion and support. Or even the tools you've learned along the way.
We all get to be kind to one another, because we truly have no idea what type of battle(s) one may be facing. ((((HUGS))))
Wrapping up fall with another love celebration (Congrats Ash and Lindsay), Halloween, lots of birthdays, took Miah to her first full moon drum circle and finally a SD soccer tournament has been fun.
Now onto Christmas... CHRISTMAS! Can you believe it?! I hope everyone has safe and beautiful holidays.
